Hans van der Stroom's Ghost
The "Gula Ghost" tied by Hans van der Stroom.

This is the home page for the ROFF Fly Swaps. If you don't know, ROFF is the rec.outdoors.fishing.fly newsgroup on USENET. If you don't know or care what USENET is, you can also read ROFF on the Google Groups archive. More than 90 people have participated in one of our swaps since the first in 2000 run by Frank Church. Frank Church's winter swap has become an annual event as has Joe Fleischman's Dog Days swap in the summer.

The Great 2006 Fly Swap is done. There are no swaps currently running.

To see the flies, patterns and names of previous swappers, click on the links below. On the swap pages, you can click on the thumbnail picture to get a detail shot, and if the tyer provided a recipe, you can click the pattern name to get to a recipe page.

Note: I would be happy to post pictures of any swap run on ROFF or ROFFT.   Just e-mail me the pictures, a description and recipe and I'll get it posted ASAP.
